Art is anchored<\/p>

by the stubbornness of artists.<\/p>

Buyers want to believe the paint suffered,<\/p>

the clay resisted, and that the artist must break in the process.<\/p>

They want a physical victory made through seeing trauma.<\/p>

Out of that friction of ideas: a thing, made real.<\/p>

Am I too old or too young to understand the shifting landscape?<\/p>

I peer over the ledge at my peers made digital.<\/p>

I take the leap, foolishly.<\/p>

Le Mat: splat.<\/p>

To engineer the juxtaposition<\/p>

between dilution and amplification.<\/p>

Ephemeral, they say.<\/p>

The magic and the madness.<\/p>

That art isn\u2019t rare. The code is.<\/p>

That flips everything discussed,<\/p>

in the way an essay is an attempt.<\/p>

The object no longer matters, but the attention.<\/p>

It\u2019s the scaffolding of trust,<\/p>

designed not to protect the thing,<\/p>

but the idea of the thing, holding space.<\/p>

I read a piece of graffiti online the other day,<\/p>

nowhere near a wall,<\/p>

\u201cAdvertising is graffiti for the rich.\u201d<\/p>

Now this graffiti is inside our homes,<\/p>

an extension, the bridge to walk across as an artist.<\/p>

Or the plank; don\u2019t bite the hand that feeds you.<\/p>

Trust is the new gravity. Invisible. Intangible. Essential.<\/p>

There is a fiction to forgetting when everything lurks.<\/p>

There are no drafts, only publications.<\/p>

Meaning without mass. Scarcity conjured from abundance.<\/p>

Bowing. Emperors, clothes made of code.<\/p>
