to bruise them,<\/p><p>which is another way of saying<\/p><p>he knows what bruising feels like.<\/p><p><\/p><p>You sense he\u2019s seen<\/p><p>how we splinter<\/p><p>against the indifference of things,<\/p><p>and decided, sensibly and rebelliously,<\/p><p>to stay interested anyway.<\/p><p><\/p><p><img
