Can you make the walls jump back for you to slip out unnoticed? Can you lift out the sentences that lie draped on your chest like a kind of octopus-suction necklace? Can you extricate it from your neck, gently tentacle by tentacle? Will you hug it before returning it to the ocean?<\/p><p><\/p><div data-youtube-video=\"\"><iframe class=\"youtube\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/duu5FjGzt-Y\"><\/iframe><\/div><p><\/p><p>So a gust of wind blew in this morning and two big mirrors on the window sill smashed to the ground. My landlady looked horrified but then turned to me and cackled - \u201ces su mala suerte!\u201d Does that mean 14 years?<\/p><p><\/p><div data-youtube-video=\"\"><iframe class=\"youtube\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I7B2IHIas-k\"><\/iframe><\/div><p><\/p><p>They buy a bombay gin and tonic, and a bacardi coke zero. The air steward is humorous and pleasant. He calls them \u201cladies\u201d and gives them options. The card machine isn\u2019t working. The ladies joke that the drinks are on him. They make the same joke three times. The air steward doesn\u2019t laugh.<\/p><p><\/p><div data-youtube-video=\"\"><iframe class=\"youtube\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-z2jUGBJS8E\"><\/iframe><\/div><p><\/p><p>Thank you for the poem. I neither liked nor disliked it. I will ponder on whether it meant something for the next two years.
